MoE Scholarship Recipiants to Germany (6.8.2010)
Two of SMSO students (Batch 2008/09) were awarded MoE Scholarships to further their studies in Germany. Nilarustika Roslan and Hariz Aiman Halidi left Brunei on 6 August 2010, to pursue BSc Mechanical Engineering at Carl Benz School, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany.

SMSO won 1st National Level Pre-University Malay Language Debating Competition 2010 (31.7.2010)
On 31 July 2010, SMSO Upper 6 students became the champion of the 1st National Level Pre University Malay Language Debating Competition 2010 (Pertandingan Debat Bahasa Melayu Pra Universiti Senegara Kali Pertama Peringkat Akhir 2010)
