Briefing by Newcastle University (19.9.2011)
On 19 September 2011, 7 L-6 students attended a briefing by the Newcastle University, at the Counselling Department, Department of Schools. Dr Chris Baldwin gave an information on the selection process and course details for Medicine and Biomedical courses at the university.
"Cliff Hanger" Motivational Forum (17.9 & 19.9.2011)
On 17th and 19th September 2011, "Cliff Hanger" Motivational Forum was carried out by the Counselling Department of the Secondary section, for "O" Level students. Five former students were also invited to share their learning experiences and study tips to the students.

Bridging to The Future 2011 Part 2 (10.9.2011)
On 10 September 2011, Bridging To The Future 2011 Part 2 was held at the Multi-purpose Hall. In addition to the certificate presentation to MoE Scholarship students (Session 2011/12), the U6 and L6 students also had an opportunity to have a sharing session with the ex-SMSO students from the previous batches.

Talk on Flood Control by JKR (8.9.2011)
On 8 September 2011, the Geography Department invited the representatives from Public Works Department (Jabatan Kerja Raya) to give a talk on flood control to the 6th Form students.
