Visit from the participants of Nippon Maru

Some participants of the Asean-Japan Youth Ship, Nippon Maru visited SMSO this afternoon, which was organised by Keriam Malay Association Tutong (PESAKA). Nippon Maru docked at Muara port on 6 November 2008.

After a short briefing at the conference room, the participants from different ASEAN countries had the opportunity to watch traditional dance performances and sample the local 'kueh-muih' (desserts) at the mini-display at the school foyer.

It was a colourful event as the MPPs were dressed in various traditional clothes. The visit lasted about 2 hours. Nippon Maru will leave Brunei tomorrow and heads to Jakarta.

The students also took this opportunity to say good-bye to our former principal, currently Assistant Director of School (Secondary), Cg Hj Kassim Md Yassin.
