On 13 August 2011, seven students (SMSO 2009/2010) who received the government scholarship attended a thanksgiving and gettogether ceremony with the Minister of Education Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Hj Awg Abu Bakar B. Hj Apong.
